"lovers don't finally meet somewhere. they're in each other all along." ~rumi

for the past few days, i have been searching for the words to describe the experience of full and total devotion to the divine.

to encapsulate the "hallelujah...thank you, jesus!" moment in words, but to the tune of ancient african spirit calls and drums.

there is a difference when, instead of calling the name, you can chant the incantations, mix the herbs, light the candles, become the aspect of god that you desire to bring into your life or the aspect that lives in you.

it is the difference between believing in god and knowing the god within.

the interconnectedness of being.

but, beyond that, i just can't seem to get the words right.

Sistren this post really resonates with me. I also have a hard time bringing forth what I feel inside about my spirituality sometimes. I love the Goddess that is within me. I feel strongly about my connection with Oldumare and my thoughts make sense to me but people around me are confused by them. I have been wanting to do a post about this...
now I think I will at my other space.
Thanks for the inspiration.:)

peace,

your ori (consciousness) will guide you where you need to be. don't worry about articulating it to others, but rather develop it within yourself and seek to attract like-minded spirits to you. you'll be feeling "normal" in no time. *smile*.

many blessings on your journey...
